|Description:||Heights Finance Corporation is a leading consumer finance organization located in the Midwest with over 100 branches in six states. We currently seek a dynamic individual to join our team in the position of Credit Manager in our Griffith, IN location. |

The Credit Manager will assist the Branch Manager in all aspects of branch performance including lending, collecting, asset quality and profitability.
|Duties:||Some of the essential responsibilities are as follows:|
Provide memorable and outstanding Customer Service as defined by our Corporate Values:
•Ensure every interaction with each customer work in conjunction with creating a \"raving fan\" experience
•Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner and obtain appropriate information from customer in order to direct customer to appropriate team member within the branch
•Apply our Corporate Values in every transaction with customers
Assist the Branch Manager in all aspects of processing and closing loans:
•Processing of loan documentation and closes customer loans
•Processing of all paperwork pertaining to the lending process while paying close attention to detail to ensure all information is completed correctly and deadlines are met
Support Branch Growth by:
•Generating loan applications and promote products that are offered by Heights Finance Corporation
Support the overall collection process within the branch by:
•Contact customers by phone to prevent delinquency using active listening skills while asking the right questions to determine situation, potential solutions and payment resolution in order to bring account current
• Uses fact finding techniques to capture key information and ensures all information such as attempts to contact, new information and agreed upon payment options are captured in the system using established company guidelines
|Qualifications:||Job Requirements |
•Proficiency with Microsoft applications
•Prior custiomer service experience required
•Prior experience in collections is strongly preferred
•Strong organizational skills
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Valid driver\'s license
•Obtain/ required state insurance license(s) within 90 days of employment
Pass pre-employment credit, criminal background and drug screenings
Associate\'s Degree or six months to one year related experience and/or traiining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
